As someone who suffers with thinning hair (or other hair challenges), you know hair loss in women is kind of a taboo subject. But like so many other taboo subjects, this, too is going to find its way into the limelight. In fact, “Better”, a show on television, highlighted the ordeal women with thinning hair are facing.

Tabatha Coffey, a famous hair stylist, was the guest speaker. And not only did she share insights about what women with thinning hair suffer, but she too has experienced hair loss. What better advocate for women everywhere.

If “Better” is not a show in your area, or if you missed it, you can watch the segment at: http://better.tv/view/C465537P234239V1515543.

The segment is only four minutes long. But if you don’t have the time to watch it, here are some of the highlights:

  • The best thing you can do for hair loss is to eat the right diet and exercise
  • Minimize the amount of stress you are experiencing
  • The way you style your hair can make a big difference in how you look
  • This is a problem that needs to be talked about more

You know, thinning hair is not the end of the world. But when you deal with it every day, it can seem like the end. So, we were pleased to see this topic being discussed on a prominent television show. Let’s hope the talk keeps happening and more attention is given to this issue.
